Yin Yoga with Julia - $7.00 drop in fee
Yin Yoga is a wonderful complement to the more ‘yang’ style of yoga (the active practice) in that it works on the joints, fascia, bones and ligaments rather than the muscles. As we age, our natural range of motion lessens due to the lack of moisture in the body, particularly the synovial fluid in the joint capsules. When we practice yin yoga, we hold the poses for 1-3 minutes, giving time for the ‘chi’ or energy to pool in the bones and joints.
