The Olympic pool is open for lap swim only.   Reservations are REQUIRED.  See below for information

You may call 505-955-4066 or 505-955-4065 to schedule a reservation.  Reservations are taken no earlier than 24hours in advance for a single visit the following day. The phone line gets busy, so keep calling if you can't get through. Front Desk staff is working very hard to get everyone taken care of. 

The pool has 5, one hour sessions Monday - Friday AND 5, one hour sessions on Saturdays.  We are doing a throrough 30 minute deep clean between each session.  There are 16 lap swim lanes and 8 spaces for those who wish to do verticle exercise in the shallow end.  Lane 1 is the deep end , lane 16 is in the shallow, and lanes 17 & 18 are for standing. Please state your preference(if you have or need) with our Reservation staff. 

Masks are REQUIRED at the Chavez Center.  You may remove your mask just before entering the pool and must put it back on immediatly after exiting the pool.  

Please wear shoes while walking on the pool deck. Any type is permitted during this time. Keep your feet healthy.

Per NMED Locker rooms are not available during this time, we do apologise for the inconvenience.

Please come prepared, wearing your swim attire and exit wearing your swim attire.  CHANGING ON THE POOL DECK IS NOT PERMITTED and EXTREMELY INAPROPRIATE. We have allocated socal distances changing areas for both men and women on the pool deck.

You may bring equipment( kickboard, fins, pull bouys, water weights, etc)  from home.
