Registration deadline for all aquatics classes is the Thursday before the class is scheduled to begin.
Parents need to remain in the bleacher area for all classes except for Parent/Tot.
A missed class or classes cancelled by weather or holidays will not be rescheduled.
MINIMUM AGE OF 5 YEARS FOR ALL LEVELS, EXCEPT PRE-SCHOOL AND PARENT/TOT. All participants will be tested for proper skills.
Drop In Sessions
Shallow Water Exercise
This class is set to music and designed to invigorate and energize. Exercise against the resistance of water while increasing stamina, improving posture, and muscle tone. This moderately paced aerobics program is for the fitness beginner that needs exercise at a relatively steady pace. No swimming ability required. PLEASE NOTE: Class Depends Upon Instructor Availability.

Kayaking Special Drop-In Fee $10
On wednesdays, the shallow end of the 50-meter pool will close for kayaking, no instruction is provided. All participants must sign a “Release & Hold Harmless” agreement before participation.

This time is designated for parents and infants only! This is not a class.

Lifeguard Training Class
Fee $126
Get a certificate that is both dynamic and challenging, while staying in shape and having fun! Participants must pass a pretest during the first session and be at least 15 years old before the class completion date. Upon completion, you will have a Lifeguard Training / First Aid certification valid for three years and a CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification valid for two years. Lifeguard Instructor Class
Fee $200
The purpose of this class is to provide the student with the skills and knowledge necessary to teach Lifeguard Training, Waterfront Lifeguarding, Waterpark Lifeguarding, Shallow Water Attendant, Lifeguard Management, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Bloodborne Pathogens, Water Safety Presentations, Basic Water Rescue, and the GuardStart Program.
Course prerequisite includes: At least 17 years old before the class completion date, ability to demonstrate competency in all Lifeguard Training/CPR/AED/Oxygen skills, and pass written exams for Lifeguard Training/CPR/AED/Oxygen Administration with an 80% score or better. Lifeguard Training Challenge Courses
Fee $75
The abbreviated class gives an ARC Certified Lifeguard the opportunity to get recertified without completeing the entire class again. Challenge courses must be completed before current certification expiration. This challenge course consists of skills associated with Lifeguard Training and First Aid. Participants will be tested through water skill scenarios, verbal questions, and a written exam. Typical challenges take between 2 - 4 hours to complete, and you will gain an ARC Lifeguard Training / First Aid certification valid for three years, upon completion. By appointment only. CPR for the Professional Rescuer Challenge Courses
Fee $40
The abbreviated class gives an ARC Certified CPR for the Professional Rescuer the opportunity to get recertified without completeing the entire class again. Challenge courses must be completed before current certification expiration. This challenge course consists of skills associated with CPR for Adult, Child, Infant for the water rescuer. Participants will be tested through skill scenarios verbal questions and a written exam. Typical challenges take between 1 - 3 hours to complete, and you will gain an ARC CPR / FPR certification valid for two years, upon completion. By appointment only. Call 955-4041 for details.
