Many of the areas of the Chavez Center are available for rental by groups and individuals. Call 955-4024 for detailed information and reservations. Security deposits required on all rentals.

Rental groups charging an admission fee are required to pay a percentage of gross collections to the Chavez Center.
Community Room/Patio
- Capacity 240 sitting, possible 75 on patio, weather permitting
- Regular rental at $130 per hour

[2 hour minimum. Must show proof of 501.C-3 status]. - Government rate at $80 per hour

Gymnasium
The Gymnasium is available for recreational sports activities and special events. Stop by and check out our facilities.
- Single Rental: each court $55 per hour, entire gym $225 per hour.
- Non-profit $40 per hour per court. Must show proof of 501C-3 status.

Therapy Pool
Rentals may require center staff lifeguards at an additional hourly rate depending on activity.
- 40 person capacity.
- Single Rental at $75 per hour.
50-Meter Pool
Rentals require center staff lifeguards at an additional hourly rate depending on activity.
- 300 person capacity.
- 50 meter pool single rental at $200 per hour.

- Swim Meets: $75 per hour.
Leisure Pool
- Single rental at $150 per hour.
Ice Arena
The Chavez Center ice arena is available to rent for private parties, tournaments, and special events. For more information contact the Ice Arena Manager at 955-4032/ tfagan@santafenm.gov or 955-4031/ temiller@santafenm.gov.
- 150 skater capacity.
- All rentals, unless otherwise specified, will begin with a resurfaced sheet of ice. The Chavez Center charges for “Block Ice,” which means the user is responsible for paying the hourly rental fee from the time the rental begins until the time the rental ends. Ice resurfacing time is included in the hourly charge for consecutive rentals.
- Single Rental at $185 per hour.
Classrooms
- 40 person capacity.
- Regular rate $65 per hour.
- Non-profit rate $45 per hour.

Conference Room
- 20 person capacity.
- Regular rate $65 per hour.

Fitness Center
- Short term rentals only.

Youth Group Field Trips
- Groups must schedule their facility visit at least two weeks in advance to ensure space and proper staffing. Call 955-4024 to make your reservation.
- Youth groups must have sufficient adult supervision as follows: 3-5 years of age - one adult per three children, 6-10 years of age - one adult per six children, 11-17 years of age - one adult per ten participants.
- Skate rental fee charged to all participants.
- Adult supervisors must be in the immediate area with their group at all times, including being on the ice or in the pool.
